Energy Houston Magazine
Editorial Philosophy
Capturing the energy of Houston like no other publication,
Energy Houston™ is actually written by the leaders
of the city themselves. Unlike “news” magazines,
Energy Houston™ presents articles by leaders
from all sectors of Houston’s
thriving economy. While we stress leaders in the energy industry,
which is Houston’s number one economic driver, our author base
includes elected officials and volunteers with major NGOs. Only Energy
Houston™
brings together the concerns of the city in an unedited format, providing
the premier forum for idea exchange and discussion. Although authors
choose their own topics, our format is designed for the presentation
of ideas
rather than self-promotion.
Readers
Written by and for the leaders of Houston and the greater Gulf Coast region,
Energy Houston™ magazine is read by the people who
need to know what the area’s
top CEOs and officials are thinking. Our readership begins with the peer group
of our author base, and extends to leaders in all walks of life throughout
the area. Because we carry articles by the heads of companies that supply,
advise or otherwise serve the energy industry, we are read by all those who
wish to maintain a competitive position in this vital sector of our economy.
Distribution
Energy Houston™ is distributed with its parent publication,
WorldEnergy® magazine up to 4-times annually. Our subscription
base includes members of Houston-based energy associations and companies
that make up the regional energy industry leadership, as well as the leadership
of major energy associations worldwide. We also mail directly to members
of major global energy conferences, many trade associations and selected
individuals within the global energy investment community. Other recipients
include members of the largest utility associations, professional associations
and local, state and national government offices. Our magazine is also distributed
on the floors of major global energy conferences worldwide.
